We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Puke Ariki Museum and Govett-Brewster Art Gallery-Len Lye Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality Māori public programs that engage diverse audiences and promote cultural understanding.

**Role Summary:**

  • Develop and deliver Māori public programs that align with the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with curators and other teams to design engaging content for various audiences.
  • Consult with iwi, hapū, and whānau to determine relevant program content and participants.

**Requirements:**

  • Tertiary qualification in Arts, Māori or Toi Māori Studies, Education, Museum or Cultural Studies or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a gallery or museum educational institution.
  • Working proficiency in Te Reo and experience applying Matauranga Māori and Te Reo in a museum or gallery context.
  • Demonstrated experience of programming with a focus on public and community engagement.
