Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading safety initiatives and supporting our Zero Harm goals.
  • Developing and improving occupational health and safety (OH&S) and environment, health & safety (EH&S) systems, policies, and risk assessments.
  • Maintaining and monitoring incident trends, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing solutions.
  • Delivering and coordinating critical safety, operational, and compliance training for employees.
  • Ensuring employees are properly trained in first aid, fire warden duties, forklift operation, quality standards, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in safety and compliance, preferably in a comparable industry or similar role.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • A hands-on approach with a focus on finding practical solutions.
  • Experience with EH&S regulations, risk assessments, and training programs.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours when needed.
