About the Role
In this position, you will develop specialised skills in the treatment for malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. You will work with patients from throughout the South Island, treating them for various blood-related conditions.
Your Responsibilities
You will perform various tasks including CVAD management, cannulation, administration of blood products, and chemotherapy. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with your colleagues and patients.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need 3+ years of nursing experience, with a focus on haematology. You must be able to work all shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights. A current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) is required, as well as registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
