About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Registered Nurse; with expert knowledge and skills in clinical Haematology to join our team as a Nurse Coordinator for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit.
In this role you will be based in the Haematology Service and will work across the care continuum, to ensure all patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation and their families receive, coordinated, seamless care at all stages of the transplant process.

About you As a Nurse Coordinator in the Bone Marrow Transplant Service you will have previous Haematology experience/knowledge and experience in dealing with patients with requiring cancer.
You will be committed to quality improvement, passionate about Haematology services and will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure, high quality, patient centred care is delivered to our patients to improve their health outcomes.
* You will be an experienced practitioner, with at least five years comprehensive knowledge and skills in Haematology Stem Cell Transplant management * Proven leadership with a solution focused approach, the ability to implement a nursing care model that educates, supports, and encourage others within team in achieve common service goals.
* You will act as a specialist resource for patients, medical practitioners, and other nurses.
* You - ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently.
* Currently hold or be working towards a relevant Post Graduate qualification.
* Being enthusiastic, motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage a wide variety of people.
* Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
