Job Description

This Is An It Support Group is seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist – Senior Associate to join our team in Hawkes Bay. As a key member of our tax team, you will work with a diverse range of clients, providing expert advice on tax matters and assisting with complex tax issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on tax matters to a diverse client base.
  • Assist with the management of a client portfolio.
  • Prepare and review technical tax compliance work.
  • Provide coaching to associates to assist with their career development.

About the Role: As a Tax Senior Associate at This Is An It Support Group, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, from high net wealth individuals and family trusts to large corporates and multi-nationals. You will be responsible for providing tailored solutions that align with their unique needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Commerce or Accounting degree.
  • 3-4+ years of experience in a tax team at a Big 4 or second-tier CA environment.
  • Proficiency in tax effect accounting and preparation of tax note disclosure and annual tax compliance.
