Job Overview
">This role is a vital part of our Health and Wellbeing Team, supporting Tangata whai ora to develop individualized goals and skills to manage their wellbeing through healthy lifestyle choices.
Main Responsibilities
">- Supporting Tangata whai ora with individualised goals and skills to manage their wellbeing
- Tailoring journeys to physical and mental wellbeing through one-on-one support and group programmes
- Facilitating regional events and supporting Housing and Recovery services
Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of the impacts of health inequities faced by our clients
- Experience as a support worker, preferably in the mental health and addiction sector
- Knowledge of Te Ao Maori and experience working with Māori clients
- Effective communication and rapport-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
