About the Role:

The Our Future Services programme will deliver a more cost-effective immigration system that is productive and effective at managing immigration risk, providing a better experience for customers and staff. The programme will be delivered through multiple workstreams working in parallel, with each implementing key initiatives with set milestone dates.

As a Software Release Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring successful software releases across different environments without service interruption. You will take ownership of planning and coordinating software releases while continually improving ways of working.

This involves working closely with other teams to keep environments current and fit for purpose. Processes are reviewed and updated regularly to ensure they meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate software releases across multiple workstreams
  • Evaluate processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain current knowledge of technology innovations
