Job Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) Casual Pool. The role will involve working in different services and receiving full orientation and training. You will have the opportunity to work flexible hours that best suit your lifestyle, while developing your skills in a stimulating and supportive environment.
About the Team/Service:
You will be part of the MHAIDS Operations Centre, which covers the Wellington, Kapiti, Porirua and Hutt Valley areas. Our team works together to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with mental health needs, as well as supporting their families and carers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• Be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with current APC
• At least two years' mental health nursing experience
• Have completed a CAP with a Mental Health scope or completed the Mental Health NESP Program
• Hold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand
• Demonstrate an ability to work with a team with a multi-disciplinary approach
