Role Overview

As a Business Partnerships Administrator at UniMed, you will play a crucial role in enabling healthier, happier people so our nation can thrive.

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Membership Services team, based in either Wellington or Christchurch.

UniMed is a not-for-profit organisation that specialises in providing workplace health insurance and services to many of New Zealand's best-known companies and their employees.

This role ensures high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and adherence to regulatory and company policies.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Group Scheme Administration: Manage onboarding, changes, and exits for group schemes, ensuring compliance and a positive experience.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Respond professionally to enquiries from group scheme management, agencies, and advisors.
  3. Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to business rules, agreements, and regulatory requirements for agencies, advisors, and group schemes.
  4. Commission & Contract Management: Oversee advisor onboarding, commissions, and client transitions during exits.
  5. Issue Resolution: Handle complex complaints, policy issues, and commission disputes fairly and efficiently.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify and implement system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  7. Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitor business practices for potential risks and escalate issues as needed.
  8. Reporting & Decision Support: Gather and analyse data to support premium setting and operational decisions.
Requirements
  1. Strong analytical & technical skills. You will be proficient in Excel with experience handling large datasets.
  2. Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement. You will be able to effectively adapt your communication style to engage with a range of audiences.
  3. A meticulous approach to data management and record-keeping, with strong emphasis on attention to detail.
  4. The ability to analyse information, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
  5. The ability to multitask, prioritise your workload, and meet deadlines.
  6. A customer centric attitude, committed to delivering great service and working effectively with others.
