Care and Support Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Care Assistant to join our close-knit care team at the Care Concern Group. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily tasks, such as getting dressed and staying active.
- Follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, providing tailored assistance and care.
- Monitor residents' health, reporting any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assisting with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
- Create a warm and welcoming environment, encouraging social interactions among residents and with staff.
- Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells.
- Support residents with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
Requirements:
- SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or equivalent role.
- Passion for caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Strong values of integrity, respect, and teamwork.
