This role would be an excellent fit for an individual in an Assistant Manager or a Manager position who desires to build upon their insolvency knowledge and experience, ultimately advancing their career.
Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct investigative accounting reviews to diagnose issues, comprehend a company's financial standing, and advise stakeholders on available options.
  • To plan and execute insolvency engagements, including receiverships, voluntary administrations, and liquidations.
  • To manage insolvency appointments, including tasks such as trading businesses, sale of business and asset realisation processes, closure and exit strategies, financial investigations, and developing and bringing legal claims.
  • To supervise engagement and correspondence with a range of stakeholders, including employees, IRD, creditors, suppliers, and shareholders, to review and adjudicate on claims.
About You
  • 3+ years' experience working on insolvencies and restructuring engagements.
  • Experience managing insolvency engagements from inception to closure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to critically think and solve problems.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills.
  • A commerce degree together with CA, CPA, or CFA qualifications.
  • Previous exposure to a variety of organisations and industries.
  • A client-focused approach to work.
  • The ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously.
  • A full driver's license.
