About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologist to join our team at Southern District Health Board. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in Queenstown and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide radiological services, including CT and X-ray studies
  • Work closely with the Emergency Department and Radiology staff
  • Support the regional Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and participate in regular meetings
  • Take on-call roster duties, covering both Lakes and Southland districts

Requirements:

  • FRANZCR qualification or equivalent
  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ
  • Competency with Te Reo Māori, Tikanga, and Te Ao Māori
  • Experience in applying Te Tiriti principles and frameworks in healthcare settings
