About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maori Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Henry Rongomau Bennett Centre. As a key member of our mental health unit, you will play a vital role in creating partnerships with Maori across all levels, including taangata whaiora and whaanau, Maaori staff, and the Kaitakawaenga team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement culturally sensitive care plans for Maori patients.
  • Provide education and support to non-Maori staff to enhance their understanding and skills in working with Maori clients.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote cultural safety and equity.
