Job Responsibilities

  • We implement, operate, monitor, and assure security systems and technical controls, or provide expert guidance.
  • We take a technical leadership role in Security Incident investigation and response.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to shape and enhance the security of a critical service provider in New Zealand. We encourage continuous learning and mentoring others, growing both individual expertise and the team's collective capability.

You're a curious and analytical professional with a passion for Information Security and a drive to protect systems and data. You thrive in technical deep dives while communicating cybersecurity concepts to non-technical audiences.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, networking, and risk management.
  • Experience in cybersecurity threat detection, investigation, and technical security solution management.
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and provide technical leadership during security incidents.
