Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as Head Of Strategic Relations. In this role, you'll be responsible for building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry and government, advocating for Halter's innovative solutions, and delivering tangible value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocacy: Serve as a champion for Halter's technology, communicating its benefits to farmers and the industry at large. Form close relationships with our customers, understanding their operations, challenges, and successes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with influential stakeholders, including industry bodies, leading organizations, senior politicians, and government agencies.
  • Strategy & Delivering Value: Collaborate with our premier government relations advisory team to deliver on our engagement strategy, identifying opportunities to drive growth and innovation.
  • Spokesperson: Represent Halter at industry events, conferences, and government meetings, strengthening cross-industry support and promoting our brand.
  • Independent Research Partnerships: Foster partnerships with agricultural research institutions, exploring opportunities for collaboration and driving innovation.
  • Identifying Commercial Opportunities: Identify potential commercial opportunities for Halter, such as partner farms or product partnerships.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record of delivering value in the NZ dairy industry, with a passion for dairy farming and experience working with scale-up companies.
  • Influencer & Communicator: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and promote Halter's vision.
  • Proactive & Self-Directed: Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven ability to work independently and deliver results.
