About the Position

This role as an Irrigation Network Technician involves working with our customers across New Zealand and internationally to ensure the smooth operation of our automated water delivery systems. You will perform field installation, repair, and maintenance tasks, as well as troubleshoot technical issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel. You will contribute to ensuring high-quality service and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field installation, repair, and maintenance of various Rubicon Water products
  • Carry out fault diagnosis, testing, maintenance, and modification as required
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Liaise with customers to discuss incident concerns or complaints
  • Travel internationally and participate in the support phone roster

Requirements

  • An electrical background and experience is preferred
  • SCADA, PLC systems, Radio, and Telemetry systems experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrate strong time management, organisational, and relationship-building skills
  • Will to learn and develop within the role
