**About the Company**
- We are team Iplex - we’re over 230 team members strong and are a leading manufacturer and supplier of plastic pipeline systems in New Zealand. We have team members working in manufacturing and distribution in Palmerston North, Christchurch, and Ashburton, with our commercial head office based in Auckland.

**About the Role**
- We are looking for an experienced
**Yard Operator** to join our plant located in
**Ashburton**. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands person to contribute to the day-to-day operations of the yard and be a part of a small team of 2.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring customer orders are picked and packaged accurately.
- Using a forklift, orders are loaded correctly, safely, and on time onto trucks.
- Stock storage and management.
- Liaise between transport and Sales Support when any variances arise to ensure that the customer is kept informed.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and demonstrate good safety practices.

**The work shift will be Monday to Friday, Day shift.**

**About You**
- You’ll need to be physically fit and be comfortable working in all weather conditions. A current Forklift License or experience operating a forklift is preferred with the ability to safely handle the movement of heavy, awkward-shaped equipment and products. What you will need is;
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- You’re reliable, punctual, organised, and responsive to the team’s needs.
- Building products, manufacturing, or civil engineering experience with some knowledge of logistics, storage, and dispatching processes, is preferred.
- Be computer literate and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communicator and a good problem solver by using relevant information and the opinion of others in the team.
- Good attention to detail and spatial reasoning to be able to load trucks and make the best use of space and maximise available space.
