Health and Wellness Advocate

Arvida Group is seeking a motivated and compassionate Wellness Partner to join our care team. As a Wellness Partner, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents, supporting their personal care needs, and promoting skills and independence.
About the OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with older adults, possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality care. You will work in partnership with residents to support their personal care needs, encourage resident-led decision making, and promote skills and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting residents with their personal care needs, including eating, resting, movement, communication, and activities
- Encouraging resident-led decision making and promoting skills and independence
- Observing and documenting health conditions, communicating effectively with residents and colleagues, and participating in ongoing training and development
Qualifications and Experience:
- NZQF Level 4 qualification or at least three years' experience in a related field (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
