We are currently seeking an experienced Café Cook/Chef to join our close-knit team at the Fonterra Research and Development Centre in Palmerston North. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving outstanding café-style food and coffee to our discerning customers.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this challenging yet rewarding role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in a similar café environment, offering a diverse range of hot and cold cabinet options;
- The ability to cater for varied dietary requirements, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied;
- Exceptional attention to detail when monitoring the quality of food throughout preparation and presentation;
- A deep understanding of NZ Food Control and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure;
- A proven track record of reliability, flexibility, and teamwork, with a willingness to take on responsibility for overseeing the café in the manager's absence;
