Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is seeking talented Clinical Mental Health Professionals to join our team as Psychiatric Registrars. The positions are based at Tauranga Hospital and Whakatane Hospital, offering a unique opportunity to work in a diverse range of mental health settings.

About the Role

This non-training Psychiatric Registrar position is an excellent opportunity for doctors to gain valuable experience in clinical practice while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will work collaboratively with our experienced multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and support to patients and their whānau
