Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our Infant, Child, and Adolescent Mental Health Service. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a passionate group of clinicians who share your commitment to providing exceptional care.
The Role
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for infants, children, and adolescents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care strategies
- Contribute to the development of new models of care, such as Te Ara Tauwhirotanga
- Pursue opportunities for teaching and mentorship at Rotorua Hospital
About You
- You hold or are eligible for Vocational Registration as a Child Psychiatrist with the Medical Council of NZ
- You have a broad range of general psychiatric skills and a passion for teaching
- You are willing to commit to a busy role with a variety of child and adolescent psychiatry cases
