Personal Care Coordinator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Community Support Worker to join our team. As a Community Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and colleagues, and to gain experience and qualifications in the field of disability support. We can support you to achieve a Community Support Worker Level Three or above qualification while you work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with disabilities with daily activities, including community participation, socializing, work or education, personal cares, and domestic chores
- Maintain accurate records and reports of client progress and incidents
- Communicate effectively and supportively with family, colleagues, and the person you support
Requirements:
- An interest in attaining a Community Support Worker Level Three or above qualification
- Experience supporting people with disabilities, and/or mental health issues, and/or behaviours that can be challenging is desirable but not necessary
- Reliability, commitment, and passion for working with people
- A full New Zealand driver's licence
- Able to pass a NZ police check
- The ability to use a computer effectively, including programs such as Word, Internet Explorer, and email
