The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and innovating critical photonics/flat optics modules, driving multi-functional teams to optimize existing process flows and develop new integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and innovate critical photonics/flat optics modules
  • Drive multi-functional teams to optimize existing process flows and develop new integration solutions
  • Develop or redefine critical criteria/aspects for optimal design performances and process capability
  • Initiate DOE evaluations to characterize process window for new design/product requirements
  • Pro-active in evaluating and implementing new integration schemes
  • Establish proof of concept for future tech roadmap

Requirements:

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferably specialized in semiconductor photonics/electronics physics or engineering
  • Prior photonics/flat optics technology development are highly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry/research within the areas of silicon, photonics/flat optics process integration and yield
  • Self-motivated, high-curiosity, good communication and interpersonal skill with proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
