Our Translational Biophotonics Laboratory (TBL) is currently seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team. As a junior scientist, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge medical technology solutions that address national healthcare priorities.
Job Scope:
• Development of innovative hardware and software solutions for photoacoustic imaging systems
• Integration of various components, including lasers, transducers, and data acquisition modules
• Development of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for easy operation of the systems
• Novel analysis algorithm development for photoacoustic imaging reconstruction
• Preparation and review of project status reports
• Communication with stakeholders to develop engineering solutions
Requirements:
• PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant fields
• Research experience in the development of photoacoustic imaging, microscopy, ultrasound imaging, and relevant fields
• Strong hands-on skills in optical system development, handling optical components, image analysis, signal processing, and prototyping
• Proficient in Matlab, Python, and LabVIEW programming
