Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Leader in the Intelligence Directorate to lead an established team of technical analysts. As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented technical analysts, whose skills encompass developing, delivering advanced data analytics, utilising machine learning as appropriate, and engineering ETL pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical analysts in developing and delivering advanced data analytics.
  • Design data-driven solutions to drive the intelligence mission forward.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff on data engineering and analysis.
  • Identify and lead projects that use unique datasets from various sources.
  • Rapidly deliver new capabilities to support the intelligence mission.

Requirements

  • Line-management experience with a passion for developing people.
  • Data engineering, data analysis, software development, or system engineering background.
  • Strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Effective prioritisation of incoming work and requests.
