About the Role

Lakes Mental Health & Addiction Services are seeking a Clinical Nurse Director to provide professional mental health nursing advice and leadership in the management of the interface with primary workforce.

The successful candidate will participate in strategic planning both locally and nationally, contributing to population mental health planning for the Lakes district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional mental health nursing advice to ensure high professional standards within the organization.
  • Lead the management of the interface with the primary workforce.
  • Participate in strategic planning at local and national levels.
  • Contribute to population mental health planning for the Lakes district.

About You

  • Masters' Degree or equivalent either completed or in progress.
  • Bachelor of Nursing with current Nursing/RN practicing certificate with no restrictions on scope.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting nurses to deliver high-quality Mental Health clinical practice.
  • Ability to support and implement evidence-based practice in line with service direction.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement of MHAS and delivery of mental health inpatient and community care.
