About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Professional to join our Adult Community Mental Health Service at Health New Zealand | Bay Of Plenty. Our multidisciplinary team provides quality mental health community care to the adult population of Tauranga out to Waihi Beach.
The successful applicant will be joining a team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists focused on the Recovery Model for individuals with serious mental disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with referrers, health partners, families/whanau, and the community to provide effective triage, assessment, and management of Tangata Whaiora.
- Deliver high-quality care to the growing population in the Bay of Plenty.
About You
We are looking for a teammate who is passionate about lifelong learning in mental health and willing to ask questions. The ideal applicant would have a minimum of three years' experience in Mental Health, including community-based care.
