About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead clinical excellence in our community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessments, planning, and delivery of care according to accepted nursing practices and standards.

You will provide a proactive and person-centric service by communicating with residents and family members. Your role involves supervising and guiding other team members, ensuring medical instructions and procedures are correctly administered, documented, and monitored.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • NZQA level 7 qualification (e.g., bachelor's degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma)
  • A current practicing certificate
  • Flexibility to pick up different shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Team leadership skills
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Good customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Alignment with our values and purpose is essential. Experience in palliative care, dementia, and InterRAI is preferred but not required. Aged care nursing experience in New Zealand is also beneficial.
