Job Description
We're seeking an exceptional leader with banking expertise to provide strategic leadership and direction to our two Deposit Taking teams, based in Wellington and Auckland. This role will require strong communication skills, the ability to take stakeholders and team members on a journey, and foster collaboration between teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the Deposit Taking teams to ensure the Conduct of Financial Institutions regime and licensing are well executed and operating seamlessly.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive operational priorities and achieve business objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including team members, customers, and partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A strong background in banking and financial services.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of the Conduct of Financial Institutions regime and its implications for the financial sector.
