Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Fares & Ticketing Support Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quoting, ticketing, and sales support to our GTN family of agents, as well as providing operational support to the wider GTN team.

Responsibilities

- Provide operational support to the wider GTN team
- Update/maintain GTN databases/portals
- Collaborate with the wider commercial team to drive outcomes focused on revenue growth

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years in an airline or travel agency
- CRS / GDS Knowledge in Reservations & Ticketing – minimum 1 GDS
- Thorough knowledge of pricing, airfare construction, groups, airline policies, and procedures
- Commitment to customer service with exceptional phone manner
- Strong computer skills including expertise with Microsoft Office functionalities
- Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure to meet customer expectations
- Strong knowledge of the New Zealand travel industry
- Self-motivated and possesses a positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
