Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing next-generation green and sustainable technology for the biomanufacturing of fine and specialty chemicals. This will involve designing and conducting experiments to optimize biochemical pathways and/or cellular organisms towards the production of selected chemicals. They will also be required to lead independent studies, maintain accurate records, analyze data, and present research findings at conferences, meetings, and to internal/external stakeholders. Additionally, they will supervise and mentor junior researchers in the team and establish collaboration with internal and external partners to develop new, cutting-edge technologies and/or improve existing ones.
