This role involves collaborating with our Civil Manager and Technical Director, supporting the wider civil team on detailed design and documentation of projects from concept to completion. You will play a key role in producing high-quality drawings and models, ensuring efficient project delivery, and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare detailed civil drawings for land development, 3 waters infrastructure, earthworks, and roads/pavements using AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
  • Support project engineers in developing designs, managing data, and ensuring design accuracy.
  • Assist with the coordination of technical aspects across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Liaise with clients, councils, and contractors to ensure designs meet regulatory and project requirements.
  • Mentor Graduate to Intermediate Technicians.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years' experience in land development projects.
  • Proven experience in NZ-based civil drafting and design.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
  • Experience preparing detailed design documentation for engineering projects.
  • NZ Residency preferred.
