We're looking for a skilled Data-Driven Decision Support Analyst to join our team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. In this role, you will support key business initiatives and continuous improvement projects, playing a vital part in shaping the future of our retail company.About the Job

You will be based at our support office in Morningside and work closely with stakeholders to provide data-based actionable recommendations that enhance operational efficiency and strategic direction. Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Develop reports, dashboards, and models to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that drive business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Assess business needs and define a strategic way forward through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Projects & Business Transformation: Support key initiatives by providing actionable recommendations and measuring the impact of business changes.
  • Automation & Process Improvement: Enhance efficiency and streamline processes using RPA and automation tools.
  • Industry & Technical Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance analytical capabilities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Demonstrated history of driving change and impact through data modelling, automation, and machine learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
