The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Systems Specialist to join our Spacecraft team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring best-practice manufacturing principles are employed, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality spacecraft systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of spacecraft mechanical production lines
- Utilize knowledge of common mechanical mechanisms
- Demonstrate proven ability to deliver KPIs
- Bring a can-do approach and flexibility
- Support build of spacecraft mechanical systems in a hands-on capacity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering
- Hands-on experience with complex mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of instrumentation, interfaces, and sensors, including power supplies, accelerometers, thermocouples, RTDs, and pressure sensors
- Familiarity with engineering change processes and implementation in production environments
