The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) is a biomedical and physical sciences research agency that drives mission-oriented research to advance scientific discovery and technological innovation.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be involved in technical tasks related to RF GaN foundry for applications up to 140 GHz. This includes performing experiments to analyze and determine the root cause of failure in GaN devices and circuits, joining cross-functional teams on FMEA techniques, participating in teamwork on process development and yield improvements, and collecting, analyzing and managing large data sets.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Physics, or MS degree in EE with 10+ relevant working experiences.
  • FMEA experience in a step-by-step approach for identifying all possible failures in the semiconductor industry.
  • Good knowledge of WBG device physics and its fabrication.
  • In-depth understanding of FMEA techniques and analytical techniques such as SIMS, XPS, AES, SEM, FIB-SEM, TEM, AFM, etc.
