About the Team

Our team at the Crown Response Office is committed to driving the Government's response to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care. We are seeking a Policy Manager to join our team, who has a proven track record of leading teams and developing high-quality policy advice.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Coordinate Policy Initiatives: Develop, coordinate and deliver high-quality policy advice to support the Government's response to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care.
  • Mentorship and Support: Mentor less experienced policy analysts and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Provide expert advice and contribute to briefings for Government officials and Ministers, and build and maintain key relationships in a cross-agency work programme environment.

Requirements

  • You will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the policy process.
  • You are able to communicate complex ideas effectively and work collaboratively with others.
  • You have a strong track record of delivering high-quality work under pressure.
