The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Advisor to join its team. This role offers a challenging opportunity to contribute to the development of economic strategies and insights that drive growth and prosperity in New Zealand.

As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will work closely with the Economic Strategy & Insights team to develop and implement policy advice that supports the Government's economic growth agenda. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on economic issues, developing strategic frameworks and models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and address challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing evidence-based policy advice on economic issues
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Communicating complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences
  • Liaising with government agencies and industry partners

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
