We are seeking a skilled Intermediate Planner to join our team at Fluid Recruitment Limited. As an Intermediate Planner, you will play a critical role in contributing to the ongoing development of projects in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in resource consent applications and liaise with regional and local authority representatives.
  • Work on local projects through to completion working alongside fellow planners in addition to external surveyors and engineers.
  • Encouraged to work on projects in a variety of aspects of the planning industry to diversify your skills.
  • Process resource consent applications in accordance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with local government bodies and regional councils to ensure compliance with the Resource Management Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Conduct assessments of environmental effects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and clients on resource management issues.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for resource consent applications and hearings.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
