Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Therapist to join our team at Starship Child Health. The role involves providing acute speech-language therapy input for children and their families on the inpatient wards at Starship Children's Hospital, as well as outpatient instrumental assessment clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Apply clinical reasoning and expertise while modelling evidence-based practice across a broad range of aetiologies.
  • Communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective patient care delivery.
  • Value diversity, inclusiveness and empathy in all interactions.

Skills and Qualifications
  • NZ registration as a Speech-Language Therapist with current Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • 2+ years of post-graduate clinical work experience, with skills in paediatric dysphagia desirable.
