Senior Civil Engineer Leadership Role

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality leadership to the engineering services team
- Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Pursuing funding opportunities for activities within the portfolio
- Providing technical and strategic advice for Council's engineering services and associated assets
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field
- Chartered status and full membership of a recognised professional engineering body
- Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in a relevant field
- Demonstrated understanding and application of key local government legislation and statutory requirements
- Experience working with external agencies and developing, procuring, and managing contracts
