Role Overview

Auckland Council is seeking an exceptional Customer Experience Associate to join our vibrant Community Connections Team. As a frontline, customer-focused role, this position will support the day-to-day operations of our busy library and multi-functional community hub.

We are a multi-site integrated hub, which means we deliver a wide range of programmes and services across different locations. This role requires individuals who thrive when working with diverse communities and have the curiosity and imagination to support exciting community programming.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

  • Have passion and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Be curious and comfortable with new technologies and able to support customers to successfully use information resources and devices
  • Have experience working with children and young adults
  • Be willing to 'muck-in' with the delivery of programmes and events
  • Have flexibility and willingness to collaborate and learn across all aspects of your work
  • Have some knowledge and understanding of Māori culture

This is a 30-hour permanent part-time position per week, including one weekend day. You can expect variety in your work and a supportive work environment for you to thrive.
