At Join Our Team, Waikato, we are seeking an experienced Building Control Specialist to join our team in the Building Unit. This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Thames Office with flexible and remote working options available.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about building control and compliance. As a Senior Building Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that buildings meet safety standards and regulations.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure. If you have a can-do attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality results, we want to hear from you

  • An appropriate NZ qualification relating to Building Control (or working towards)
  • An understanding of current NZ Building Code legislation and NZ Building Code
