Job Description

CCS+D is inviting applications from experienced faculty experts and medical researchers who can nurture SingHealth clinicians with passion and interests in research and innovation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing grantsmanship advisory & consultations with clinicians to improve their chances of success in obtaining research grant funding
  • Training clinician researchers in presentation skills, providing advice regarding research methodologies and statistical analysis plans, supervising rebuttals to grant reviewers' comments, and supervising interview preparation
  • Providing individualised research career advisory to aspiring clinician-researchers in collaboration with the Centre's Director and principal lead faculty members
  • Teaching research methodologies to clinicians and medical students
  • Being part of the internal grant review committee to assess the suitability of pilot research studies for funding

Requirements

Key requirements include:

  • Recognised medical or PhD degree
  • Excellent track record of research accomplishments
  • Dedicated to nurturing aspiring clinicians for promoting academic medicine and research
  • Self-motivated and proactive in guiding and supervising clinicians
  • Able to work with clinicians across different disciplines

This is a full-time position based at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore.
