About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ENT Specialist to join our team at Whanganui Hospital, a well-resourced centre providing high-quality care to patients in a stunning regional setting.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Otolaryngologist to work with a dedicated team and contribute to improving equity and health outcomes for the Whanganui Community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to patients in a small hospital setting with state-of-the-art technology
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Mentor and develop junior doctors to enhance the team's skills and knowledge
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Completed your residency/ registrar training in Otolaryngology
  • Be eligible to hold vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
  • Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with your team and other departments
