About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our Adult Community Services Directorate as an Adult Community Care Dietetic Professional. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessment and outcome-focussed innovative care to patients in the area of adult community services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dietetic advice and support to clients with conditions such as malnutrition, dysphagia, oncology, wound healing, obesity, and irritable bowel syndrome.
- Work in locality teams to deliver holistic health services within the community.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve best health outcomes for patients.
- Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition programs to promote healthy eating habits in our communities.
Requirements
- NZ Registered Dietitian with a current APC and clean drivers licence.
- Minimum 18 months clinical experience in dietetics; previous experience working in community settings is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment.
- Drive to ensure best health outcomes for people with a special interest in community-based care.
