**About the Role:**

We are looking for a Finance Administrator who is passionate about accuracy and efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and managing debtors and creditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
  • Process invoices, manage debtors and creditors, and oversee payroll functions
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of GST and PAYE returns, conduct bank reconciliations, and process payments
  • Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, support audits, and contribute to annual accounts preparation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2 year minimum) in a finance administration role, with proficiency in Xero accounting software, payroll, and a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insightful financial reports and identify process improvements
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
