About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Event Planning Specialist to join our team at Auckland Transport Operations Centre (ATOC).
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting ATOC's planning for a diverse range of events and activities, mitigating the impact of activities on our transport network.
  • You will have the opportunity to assist with the planning for major sporting fixtures, concerts, protests, and significant weather events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of operational plans, administration, finance support, and reporting.
  • Coordination of successful public transport operations and ensuring seamless communication to customers through our ambassador and security teams.
  • Gaining valuable TTM qualifications to be successful in this role.

About You

  • An exceptionally positive attitude and work ethic.
  • A keenness to develop your knowledge and capability in the event planning space.
  • Excellent administration and organisation skills.
  • A high level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.

Benefits

  • An appointment base salary from $75,000 - $80,000 per annum.
  • KiwiSaver employer contribution of 3% on top of base salary.
  • A flexible working environment with five weeks annual leave.
