About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Research Assistant to join our team at the University of Auckland. As a Research Assistant, you will work in our state-of-the-art laboratories to assist in conducting research experiments and analyzing data.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, excellent laboratory skills, and experience with immunofluorescence methods, microscopy, animal handling, and in vitro and ex vivo disease modeling. You will also have a university degree in BSc or BBiomedSc, and preferably at least 12 months of laboratory experience.
This is a fixed-term, part-time position for fifteen months, with the opportunity to extend pending further funding. We offer flexible working hours and a competitive salary range of $62,400 - $77,800 pro rata, depending on skills and experience.
