The New Zealand Red Cross is seeking a Red Cross Shop Senior Coordinator to join their team in Hamilton East.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a coordinator to take on a leadership role, supporting the day-to-day operations of the shop. As Red Cross Shop Senior Coordinator, you will assist in overseeing the presentation, stock-sorting, pricing, and opening and closing procedures.
You will be responsible for working closely with volunteers to create a welcoming and stylish shopping environment, engaging customers, and promoting the sale of donated goods. Additionally, you will support the recruitment, training, and retention of shop employees with the support of the Retail Regional Manager.
As a coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining an effective and collaborative team environment, ensuring shop rosters are maintained to ensure efficient operations.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for working with people.
