Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead our Red Cross Shop in Hamilton East.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a fashion-savvy individual to take on a leadership role, driving sales and creating a welcoming shopping experience for customers. As Store Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, including presentation, stock-sorting, pricing, and opening and closing procedures.
You will be responsible for creating a stylish shopping environment, engaging customers, identifying needs, and recommending products to meet targets. Additionally, you will promote and manage incoming donations to maintain an exceptional product range.
As a leader, you will support an effective and collaborative team environment, maintaining shop rosters to ensure efficient operations. You will also recruit, train, and retain shop employees with the support of the Retail Regional Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge of retail operations, stock management, sales drivers, administration, banking, and cash handling. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role, preferably in retail or customer service, is required.
